Why did you learn to code
Now before I get into the deep reason to why I learned to code, I do want to point out it was not just monetary. Luckily, learning to code can be a huge financial blessing compared to many job choices out there. I was lucky my passion aligned in this aspect.

Coding is about creating something from nothing, using logic and imagination to bring ideas to life. Learning to code can unlock your creative potential, encouraging you to innovate and design solutions that can make a real difference in the world.
I have always been a huge fan of technology and how I can use it to make my life easier.
I remember my mouth literally dropping by all the functionality my original Android device could do (my OG Motorola Droid).
This moment was more than just excitement over a new gadget; it was the spark that ignited my passion for diving deeper into the realm of software development. Unlike hardware, which seemed barred by the need for substantial investment, software presented itself as an accessible frontier.
It promised a world of exploration that required nothing more than a laptop and a genuine eagerness to learn.
Embarking on this journey into the world of coding, I quickly realized it was about much more than writing lines of code. It's about bringing ideas to life, solving real-world problems, and making things that can help people in ways we hadn't even imagined.

There is something so fascinating about being to create any piece of software my mind can create. Bringing me back to the days of imagination and the joy the Motorla Droid brought to me.

The most immediate impact of learning to code is the different career opportunities it opens up. Nowadays, technology is super important in almost every job you can think of, including banks, hospitals, movies, and lots more.
People really want to hire those who can code because it's a niche skill that can drastically improve business value.
Not to mention coding can be done remotely anywhere in the world. What you create can impact millions of individuals from all over.
It is a really awesome experience building products that have over 1 million unique visitors per month. 1 million people is so many that it is almost hard to fathom that many individuals using software I have touched.
Enhances Problem-Solving Skills
Coding is fundamentally about solving problems. It teaches you to break down complex issues into manageable parts and to think logically and algorithmically.
I like to think I can easily take big complicated issues and chop them up into smaller, more manageable pieces.
Problem-solving ability stays with you no matter what field you are in. Critical thinking makes your more adept at solving challenges or finding solutions in unique and creative ways. At the end of the day, that is what you are hired to do as a coder. Your job is to solve business problems using technology.
Coding is much more than just a technical skill.
